How many spots are available?

15!! I want to keep this intimate & make sure everyone gets a chance to meet each and every girl attending the retreat. I personally do better in small groups (where my introverts at?!?), and there is literally nothing worse then trying to get that perfect shot all while pushing through a crowd of 30+ photographers. Shooting groups will be no more then 7 at time to assure everyone has a chance at directing each couple & also capturing that epic shot.

So how do I get there?

You will be responsible for all transportation to and from the retreat as well as getting to each shooting location while attending the retreat. I will create a Facebook group for all attendees so you can coordinate car pools, renting cars, etc.

What does a retreat style workshop mean?

This is for the boss babes who value community over competition. You want to meet other lady photogs and build long lasting friendships while bonding over hiking the white mountains, chasing waterfalls, oh and did I mention all while building a kick ass portfolio!! This isn’t a sit down/classroom style workshop with a full day of power points & lectures, this is a retreat style with a heavy focus on epic styled shoots, from playful couples sessions to styled elopements with a few surprises up my sleeve to give your portfolio a unique edge!! Ive partnered with REAL vendors to bring you gorgeous gowns, and breath taking florals. Our shoots will take place in a variety of locations to give you a broad portfolio range & make the most out of your trip to New Hampshire.

I will be teaching two topics open discussion style, I want to teach you how you can really elevate your customer experience from inquiry email to wedding gallery delivery & beyond. This will keep your inbox flooded with inquires & keep your brides raving about you for years to come. Word of mouth has been a key factor in my success/ amount of bookings, I want to share my tips & tricks with you so you can keep you inbox flooded too! I also will be teaching how to get your couples to open up, capture raw emotions & get movement in your photos even when you work with the self proclaimed “most awkward couple ever”. This will also of course be taught hands on during our styled shoots.

Aside from that, I want the focus to be on building connections with other talented lady photogs.  I want you to be inspired by your surroundings, create art for you and challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone. This is for the boss babes who are wanting to learn how to give better direction, get motion in their photos & overall make their couples feel more comfortable in front of the camera through a hands on/visual learning experience. This retreat is for photogs that have a strong passion and interest in photographing couples & elopements. Whether that means you’ve never shot an elopement/wedding or you’ve been shooting weddings and elopements for years. All skill levels are more then welcome and encouraged to come!! There will be some hiking involved to get to some of our epic locations so come prepared with hiking boots/sneakers.

There will be 2 styled elopement shoots with dreamy florals & boho style dresses to give a true feel of a mountain side elopement. and 1 other shoot, either an in home session or adventure session, ill have the group vote! On top of that, multiple opportunity’s to take some rad portraits because let’s face it, even you deserve an epic Instagram pic!!

What this retreat is NOT

• Camera tutorial ( all attendees must have a working knowledge of their camera)
• Anything taxes related – save that for your cpa!
• How to grow your Instagram following – I care about serving clients & growing a successful business, just remember more followers doesn’t necessarily mean a more profitable business.
• Editing tutorials/ preset give-away- I’m not in a place yet where I want to share my custom preset & believe everyone should do a deep dive into light room to learn and explore their style.
• Pricing guide/ how and when to raise your prices- I’m more then happy to give you my opinion but I don’t believe in any magic formula!

What does east coast wilderness retreat cost?

A whole lot of heart and soul is being poured into this retreat and I’m prepared to make it the best experience possible for you girls.

The one day East Coast Wilderness Retreat in the white mountains is $400. Payment will only be accepted via venmo and must be paid in full at time of signing up. Your spot is not secure until your deposit has been made. You will have 24 hours to send in your deposit after sending in your application, otherwise your spot will be up for grabs! NO HOUSING WILL BE PROVIDED. Feel free to coordinate with other attendees to rent an airbnb or drive home after the last shoot!

Cancellation Policy
Failure to finalize payment will result in forfeiting your deposit and your spot in the retreat.

Return Policy
Cancellation will result in the loss of your deposit unless you find someone else to take your spot. You are responsible for finding your replacement and your deposit will be transferred to that person.

I reserve the right to alter, cancel or change the workshop if needed. This is certainly not likely, but legally I am required to let you know.
